One of the famous dessert shop in SS2, Petaling Jaya. I normally come here in the evening or at night for supper and dessert except once or twice in the afternoon. I prefer visiting this shop at night due to its ambient. I like to come here for dessert and chat with friends. What I order is usually the Mango-Lo or the Hot Barley with Gingko Nuts. These are really good. Try the Waterchessnut as well. It can be eaten either hot or cold. I personally recommend it to be eaten hot as the dessert will be slightly diluted by the ice cubes when served cold. You might be able to find parking along the street in front of the shop which might require you to walk a bit. Just be more careful while walking if you are coming at night.

KTZ is one of the famous dessert shop in town, it is located at SS2, which also known as Food Heaven place. KTZ used to be my hang out place with my coursemates for supper during my college, before i started to work. It serves a wide range of desserts includes shaved ice, Tong Sui, dim sum and the others. They are famous for their shaved ice, come in different flavours, such as mango, honeydew, mixed fruits etc. and it is also my favourite in this restaurant. My favourite order will be the Honeydew Shaved Ice, it does not taste very sweet but the portion is slightly too much for a girl, so we usually share the shaved ice. Apart from that, if you are interested in KTZ, you should also try their Tong Sui, which always sold out very quick. The dim sum like "paper wrapped chicken" and loh mai kai is also must-try! Yummy yummy! :)

KL has tons of cafes serving delicious cakes and macarons but K.T.Z is in a different league altogether as they specialise in chinese desserts. The acronym K.T.Z stands for 'Kei Tak Sek" which means remember to eat in cantonese. Take a walk down memory lane and you'll find the traditional chinese desserts served here such as peanut butter tong sui and black sesame tong sui. I like how the desserts are not watered down here and they have a wide variety of hot and cold tong sui. Everything tastes homemade without any artificial flavour. It will be difficult to get a table here at night especially after dinner as the place will be packed.

Best dessert in town! KTZ was founded and rose to fame from this very neighbourhood in Kepong. This establishment had gained much popularity from their road-side stall that they have managed to set the very popular SS2 branch. They serve all-day dimsum, things like Lo Mai Kai and Siew Mai are now accessible for supper. Traditional dishes such as fried rice and noodles are also on the menu. KTZ is famous for their desserts, hot and cold. I personally recommend the "Mango Loh", shaved iced covered in mango puree mixed with a hint of coconut milk, sago and chunky bits of mango. Their hot desserts are pretty good too, things like red/green bean soup is a must try! The only downside of the outlet is that it is located next to the main road, so it might get abit dusty and parking in the area is also an issue.
